Too much fatty gasoline will really put on the pounds around your door handles. |

This is the car that is 100% safe to pedastrians. In 10 years all cars will look like that. I think it's time for me to get some HIV or cancer...

I'd like to know how they made this... #2 That's what everyone around my town will have to drive, but it will have to manufactured with a Volvo, BMW, audi or Mercedes sticker. That is all the people drive around here and it's a university town, damn them college jaywalkers... they pop out anywhere and everywhere! I wanna hit every one of them |

#5, A guideline: if it's FWD (or faux AWD) it's no longer a Volvo. Just a rebadged Ford... |

#6, That's not really accurate, Volvo had FWD platforms before the Ford takeover and the only Volvo that actually shares a Ford platform is the new S40 which uses the same platform as the Mazda3 and the European Focus, which is a definite improvement on the Mitsubishi platform the previous S40 used. Other than that the only major Ford part is the XC90's V8 which appears to be a re-spin of the 2nd generation Taurus SHO. |

#11, True, but the 300-series was hardly a Volvo. And although 100-series was quite original, for me it was more of a Civic of a Mazda 323F style. Not very Volvish. |

#12, Yeah the 300 was a Daf in Swedish drag, but I was thinking more of the 850 series which is pre 1999 and the S60, V70 & S80, XC90 families. I don't recall a 100 series, other than the 140s which were the Volvo. |
