#6, All muscle cars can beat MOST imports.
Why do you guys do it? Imports are small, nimble cars: use them to autoX or rally, don't do drags! They are simply not meant for it, face it. My econobox is awfully slow (80HP) but I dare say that it would beat most (OK, maybe somel) muscle cars on a tight, twisty autoX course. It's simply build for corners not the straight line. |

| #7, But then again, all you have to do to solve the "imports are better on a road course than muscle cars" debate is race a civic (or any other econobox) against lets say.....an AAR Cuda or maybe a Challenger T/A. Both of those cars are setup for road courses and would whip 99% of the imports out there at their own game. I do agree about the drags though, imports are not drag cars, in fact, no front wheel drive is meant to be a drag car. |
