I don't know why civic owners continue to put type R stickers on their cars. Everyone knows there is not a civic type R, they should forget about it and put Si stickers or something at least that is believable since there is a civic Si. |

I don't know where you heard there wasn't a Type-R Civic, Honda's been producing Type-R trim since the EK9 hatch back in 1997 and continues to produce them today. Each gen comes with high displacement, high-revving engines like the B16B, K20A and H22A7 and various other goodies for each gen like lightened frames, LSD's, seam-welded chassis, Recaro seats, ventilated brakes, VTEC, reprogrammed ECU's and loads and loads of power per litre. Unfortunately they're only available in Japan and Europe (each version tuned slightly differently) and America gets the less-impressive but still highly capable Civic Si. And of course idiots will still put "R" badges on their stock base model Civic sedans to try and impress people.
