And just think.... with all the time and money he wasted on this car, he could have gone to an art school and learned some taste. HA. |

You could take a seat on that rear bumper. Should handle the weight okay, it's Koni equipped!!! |

How many toyota emblems do you need on a car? Even though I'm a corolla owner myself, i'd still slash this guy's tires. |

#4, unless I'm mistaken (which could very well be) I believe it's probably a 79-82 Corolla, the fourth generation looked similar to this... of course with all the extra crap on it, it's hard to tell |

I have a question...what does it matter if it's a corolla or a Camry? It's still a piece off pure uncut, unadolterated crap. |

It looks like a Corolla to me. The Camry didn't exist until 1980, and for two years it was a sub model of the Celica until it was moved to its own model for the 1983 model year. It can't be a Celica Camry, because that car had the side mirrors mounted on the fenders above the wheel wells. From 1983 to 1986 it had dual headlights, so it can't be a Camry from those years either. It could possibly be a 2nd generation Camry 1987-1991, but all of them had a slanted divider between the second and third windows, which this car does not. None of the Camrys have ever had a straight window divider, but the early to mid 80s Corollas did. I second the vote for it being a Corolla. |

#8, The Camry was not a submodel of the Celica, it was a replacement for the Corona. |

#8, #9, I thought the only "submodel" the celica ever had was the celica supra(?) |

#10, You are correct ... Toyota did roll out the Celica with luxury amenities and six cylinder power and called it the Celica Supra. Later, it became a separate model. |

My post #9 was in reference to the US auto market. It's interesting that the "family" Camry was ever part of the Celica line in Japan. |

I took the photos here in Australia. It's a Corolla here, but the guy's found several Camry badges, a Koni badge, and some Toyoya logos, which weren't like that in the early 80's, here anyway. I should've slapped him a ticket, (didn't have any) Maybe around the head too, for displaying such poor taste.

#18, thanks for that... (I'm a fan of the last model of IS myself)
#17, i'm thinking toyota didn't adopt that logo until 1989 or so. I can't find info to back me up, but my 1990 corolla just says "TOYOTA" on the front grille. |
