| Both of cars I own are from Japan. I own a 04" 350Z and a 89" CRX Si with a B16A1 which is my daily driver. I do not think either of them are near being a "ricer" if the definition of a ricer is a car that looks fast but it's not, but I guess that is up to the driver. I found this site one day by luck and it just makes me laugh. The owner of the site can do and say what ever he wants with out violatng an individual's civil rights. While some may want to point out asian import automobiles that are "riced" up I like to do the same for domestic vehicle, but I am not making a site based on those findings. I just make a mental note about it and laugh. |

You said asian ricer so I am not sure if you are refering to an individual, the car, or both. I do not think there is really a correct definition of a ricer? In my own words I think a ricer is a car that is cosmetically enhanced and has a few mods such as a muffler and an aftermarket ait intake system and after all that is done the owner drives the car in such a manner you may think he/she is trying to race anything with wheels. If I see a Cavalier with ground FX and a big high spoiler the first thing that comes to my mind is ricer and the same goes for a foriegn car as well. |

#14, By "asian ricer" I meant the individual. A "Ricer" is typically the individual, a "rice rocket", "rice burner" is typically the actual car.
On a different note. Ricers do usually think their cars with aftermarket mufflers and wings are fast. As a matter of fact, I was out cruising with my girlfriend in my Chevelle today, and I saw a black civic with a huge wing coming up behind me to my left (I was in the right lane obviously) but keeping it's distance. I saw in my side view mirror that there were two guys in it, and I can tell they were admiring my big sticker I have on my rear window which is a sticker of Calvin, of Calvin & Hobbes, pissing on "Rice Burners". So anyways, I got to a stop sign first, and there was no car in front of them, and they could have gone head to head with me at the stop, but they chose to get into the left turn lane, and when I started to take off, the moron revs up his little four-banger and all I see are puffs of black smoke coming out his huge muffler. So then I just yelled out to them laughing, "I wish I had black shit coming out of my exhaust like that!" then I laughed some more and they just had this look on their face like "fuck you" but didn't say anything and I just burned out and left. My whole thing is, if they thought their big bad rice civic was so bad ass, why didn't they meet me at the line instead of getting into the turn lane. Oh ricers, they tickle me, LOL. |

#17, What is amusing is the fact that Civics, Neons, etc. are quite light and nimble cars. They would do OK in autoX or club racing (in their class), but ricers choose to use them as drag cars. Why?
Maybe because they can't drive... |
