With that GT-R badge and airplane wing on the back this guy must be the envy of every Mustang owner in San Francisco. |

#22, I thought so as well, but later I figured that single exhaust = non-GT, dual exhaust = GT . . . at least, on the most recent Mustang platform. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. (Of course, who's to say that some retards don't just put dual exhaust on their V6-powered Mustangs?) |

I've also seen a few mustangs that looked like they had cheesy base trim wheels and tires, but exhaust on both sides emerging from a rectangular outlet just in front of the rear wheels...Is this is an aftermarket add-on? |

V-6 engine. 6 cylinders. the lame one. the one that takes a heavy Mustang to 60 in 9 seconds. the people that buy V6 Mustangs usually buy them with automatics. Unless you're planning an engine swap, there's not much of a chance of being too incredibly fast in such a heavy car.
speaking of "V" in general, does it tick anyone else off when people refer to four-cylinder engines as "V4's?" How did this get started? "I-4" is the correct abbreviation. "V-4's" are found in weird cars like old Saabs and stuff. |

#27, The current incarnation of the V6 engine that they put in the Mustangs is not the same as the 140-150 hp version that used to take around 9 seconds to hit 60. They're around 190 hp now, and have a constant ~200 lb-ft of torque from 2500-5500 RPM, which really isn't bad when you consider that they idle at around 750-900, and the redline is 5500.
Sure, it's still not super-fast, but with a manual transmission, you can at least shift in such a way that it stays within its powerband (the automatic shifts way too early at part-throttle). |

#31 - whoops, forgot about Subaru, which would be abbreviated as F-4, or "Flat Four," or "Boxster" or whatever...
For some reason though, guys keep asking if my Saturn is a "V4" It bothers me....so I told them it was a "Gas Turbine" or a "Wankel" and a few of them nodded their heads in agreeance and told me that their uncle had one or something |

#32, I was under the impression that "flat 4" engines would be repersented by an "H" - similiar to the patteren. |

#35, also possible, just as I4 can be represented as L4, but, "V4" remains confusing and irritating |
