Hey gents. Im a 02 Lightning owner, and a member on the National Lightning Owners Club (NLOC). This particular lightning owner is also a member and photoshopped his truck for fun and posted the pics since all us Lightning owners tend to get a good laugh from rice, all of which we have to laugh at in our rear view mirrors. Funny pic....but ultimately....a fake. Good for a laugh though.......besides...at least the Lightning has a top speed that carries the perpetual velocity to make use of an aluminum spoiler of that magnitude. On the Dodge SRT-10 note, cool idea...500 hp in a truck. But crunch the numbers. Dodge gives an approximate 50k MSRP price tag and maybe even more.....for 35k you get 390 with the lightning and 450 tq. WELL less than 1000 dollars in mods can put WELL OVER 500hp in a Lightning. The SRT-10 didn't get that much HP by accident. Yes it is naturally aspirated and the Lightning has a blower, but it is often forgotten that the Viper engine has 10 cylinders...not 8. Had the Lightning been born a Blown 10 cylinder......I don't even want to think about it....I have enough trouble keeping mine on the road as it is. Dodge just wants too much exclusivity....so the price is astronomical. Oh well, it pulls my Sea-Doo and makes late model vette owners scared to look at me at stoplights. Chow Gents.
