Here's what BenBrausen had to say: The white Honda is what the owner said "Use to be a sponsored car." It use to have a Integra engine in it but now it has the original engine back in it. You can see it has some side damage which the driver told me, "When I race, I haven't gotten a feel for where my passenger side of the car is so I smash stuff and most of the time it's other cars." This thing had about 50 pounds of tape holding it together and a 500 pound roll cage that he'd never need nor does he have the engine power with the little engine in there to pull that extra weight.
(Trooper note: Some freakshow uses this as a daily driver??) |

| You know, iMport doesn't seem like that bad of a person. He just has different views than some of us who frequent this site. He may have a short fuse (Ex. post #126), but which one of us doesn't have a short fuse every now and again? |

| HAHA, I LOVE that line about V8s being gutted to run as fast as full interior Lancers or whatever it is that ricers drool over. I've seen 9 second Mustangs with full interiors. Saw one once in car craft that ran high 10s and had a totally stock interior with a working 8-track player. On the other hand, I've never seen a 10 second import that had full interior. |

| Import seems to be very biased against anything with a V8. Napoleonic complex? He loves to make generalized statements like "domestics can't handle", when we've got cars like 3rd gen F-bodys, Fox-body Mustangs, Corvettes, and Vipers that that can all pull high g's on the skidpad. Hell, even a Boss 302 Mustang could boogie around a corner at pretty high speed. Then he calls classic car enthusiasts "stuck in the past". Well, he can have his damn uncharismatic modern cars, whether he chooses Japanese, European, or American. I stick to the classics. |

| Uh OH import tuner is up against the wall and taking a real beating. The only people that seem to be import racers are punk kids with no knowledge and too much money. They cant drive, race or work on their cars. I know there is the odd acception but for the most part I think I hit the nail on the head. |

| i dont see why a 220hp civic which weighs maybe 2200 cant beat/hang with a 320hp camaro which weighs 3600, the civic got a better hp/lb ratio, and yes the ss got way more torque but its still possible for the civic to beat him |

| I think Import and Mac need to get together. Both of them seem to this insane idea that a Civic is better than/can beat a Viper. Tell ya what. You get in your shit-vic and I'll go borrow my uncle's Viper and we'll see who kicks who's ass. (I'm sure if my uncle won't let me drive it, which is probably the case, he'd be glad to take you on.) |
