StealthOnFire: Was on my way home from a friends house and saw this in a condo parking lot. The dude was parked in the middle of the parking lot. At first my friend and I thought that the pointless wing was a double decker it was so big.
The wing is a tacky flat white and it doesn't look like the Ricer has any intentions to paint it. Not apparent in the pictures but it had a single wiper blade. I rate this at least a 6.5 on the Ricer scale simply because this family car has turned to rice.
It's an Alero! Why would you even want to rice that out? |

| Ok.. I don't want to defend the car because it has an UUUGGGLLY ASS wing.. BUT.. at least its not a civic! Finally someone "hooks up" something origional.. I haven't seen anyone do anything to an Alero and its not that bad.. I like the rims.. just the wing is soo ugly.. |

| so what! Its just the name.. that lil thing can dust most 4 cyls.. the 4cyl Alero has 140 or 150 hp (can't remember...) and the 6cyl has a 3.4 litr 170 hp engine.. not bad for a lil car.. |

here is my defence that i submited...
lol its funny i really dont care that i am on the site ewww big deal its all fun :D but just to let eveyone know that the wing had only been on for about 2 weeks and now has been painted, plus other stuff has been done to the car now. HatinonHondas...thats why i picked the alero to do somthing origonal...how mayn aleros u seen done u?? ALSO yes i SMOKE any 4cylinder..anyone wanna run i meet u any place any time :) the car was pretty quick stock buts its not stock any more...right now i am droping a 5 speed in the car which was never an option on the 3.4 ltr. Aight i done...but i aint pissed lol the car isnt close to bein finished so i dont expect anyone to expect much outta the car yet. also the 1 wiper was becuase i guess i pissed someone off and they broke it off the car and its $40 plus a wiper n i didn't feel like buyin one...AND i was in a parking spot in the condo lot...i was parrallel to the grass which IS a parking spot :)

| ALSO THE GUY THAT GAVE ME A TICKET IS MORE OF A RICER THAN ME!!! he has a stealth...the plane 4 bannger, he put that chrome door trim on it..and lil gay stuff like that! |

| So what its an Oldsmobile.. Its just a name.. when you think about the car itself its not bad.. it actually has the same engine as the Grand Am.. And its a light car.. im still not feelin the wing though.. when you add a wing to a car like this.. you just get added to the FWD Car w/ A Wing Ricer List.. but its whatever.. |

| you can smoke any 4-banger, huh? thats funny. a guy who drives an automatic 170hp oldsmobile that weighs over 3000lbs thinks he can take "any" 4 banger. i am sure you can take my 1.8 liter integra type-R with intake and exhaust, pushing a little over 200 hp and weighing around 2700 lbs, right? you might be pushing high 15's once you drop that tranny in there. lol. wait, maybe you can take my dads Honda S2000 that has a "4-banger" in it too. it breaks 14.0 by the way. |

Then again, basically anything could beat my 4-banger, well, maybe not my Honda 2-banger...It's even slower...Damn, I wish I could afford a better car, but I can't, so I'm not going to sink money into my worthless little compact. I'm gonna save up my money until I can afford a real car. Maybe a Trans-Am convertible, that would be nice. |

"Hooking up" a car is not sticking stupid wheels and a wing on FWD family car....get a clue. Also, you said something about "So what its an Oldsmobile.. Its just a name"...take your own advice. A honda does not make it rice...rice makes a car rice. I am not import freak, but I don't hate hondas to just hate hondas. Anyone how knows anything about racing, INDY or F1 knows that honda makes great race cars. Anyone who has driven, or owns a S2000 or NSX knows they can make fast, great handling cars. When was the last time oldsmobile made anything fun or fast. It has been a long assed time. |

| i agree with elanderholm. putting a wing on a family sedan and making riduculous statements like "i smoke any 4-banger" makes you all the more a ricer in my opinion. |

| I love his argument that this isn't rice because it's an Oldsmobile, and they built the 4-4-2. That's like saying that your typical riced-out Supra isn't rice because of Toyota's IRL or Cart (don't know which, don't care) racers. Dumb, dumb argument. And even a Hurst/Olds, or a '70 Cutlass, or a 442 would be rice if you did this crap to it. |

| Elderhorn - I NEVER said this car wasn't rice.. the only point I was making was thank god it wasn't another civic.. someone does something to another car besides a civic.. not that I like the something they did to their car. And my reasons for hating hondas are 1) slow, 2) Ugly, 3) Cheap, 4) too easy to "hook up" or "customize" although they all look the same and 5) everyone has one.. Even if it is "fast" like your lil S2000.. I still don't like em.. Id take his 3.4 Alero (ugly wing and all) over your 2.0 S2000.. the S2000 has 240 hp... but only has 150 lb ft of Torque.. and his Alero may only have 170 hp, but is pushin 200 lb ft of Torque.. and about his comment "I can smoke any 4 banger" .. maybe hes just proud of his car.. and Oldsmobiles don't make "sporty" cars.. they make fam cars.. BUT.. oldsmobile is under GM.. and of course you all know what else is under GM.. oldsmobile is pretty much the fam sedan section of GM.. |

And the same engine in the 3.4 Alero is the same as the Grand Am GT.. Its a 6, not a 4.. for some reason you guys keep callin it a 4 cyl.. so it isn't really a bad engine.. AND ANYWAYS THIS IS JUST ALL MY OPINION, I DON'T WANT TO START THE "MY CAR IS FASTER THAN YOU CAR ARGUMENT".... and to conclude my argument.. I still think its rice.. but thank god its not a civic..
