Just your standard ricing going on here. Big body kit, single wiper,decals, etc. Although I've noticed an alarming new trend of taking the exterior badges and gluing them to the dashboard. I guess they have to go somewhere and there is the added bonus of your passenger being well aware of your vehicle make/model. |

| #18, yea, the bodykit is painted, THE WRONG FUCKING COLOR. I'm sorry, but you have a poor taste in automotive modifications. Maybe you were embarassed about a Cougar being a "chick car" so you had to make it '2Fast 2Furious' to compensate. |

Oh the kit is painted, painted a completely different color than the body, but painted nonetheless, okay we'll give mr ricer a point for that, and unless you had that car imported from the UK, and switched over to LHD, then you don't have a Ford Cougar, you have a Mercury, and prying the badges off the grille and sticking a huge Ford decal in a wierdly-off-center location doesn't change that. | luxury vs power... mercury is (or at least was, now I guess it could be lincoln) ford's luxury line. not meant to go anywhere fast but to get the driver there in comfort. i had this arguement with a ricer schoolmate. I was driving my mom's lexus es300 coach edition and giving him a ride to school. he kept telling me how much the A/C robbed my horsepower when in reality it uses less power then rolling around with your windows down (the rear part of the car is essentially a drag chute). all the while we're going to school he keeps trying to tell me to punch it while I keep countering with "this is a luxury car, not a sports car." he never received a ride from me ever again. and before anyone says anything, I do know that the merc is hardley a luxury car, but it's not a sports car either. back in the day it was just a luxury mustang. did i ramble enough for everyone? |

| Actually, the V6 Cougars had a VERY SWEET 2.5 liter V6 shared with the Mazda MX-6 and 626 that pumped out 170 horsepower. Too bad the car was so ugly. |

First off to the owner of this car. I took the pictures at work because i worked with you, i dont think you still work here. And it took you 2 months to paint your body kit, and you spray painted it. it looks horrible. From the distanec it even looked like you spray painted your real body to, i never got close enough to really tell though. And i live in winchester, and drive around lex all the time. Iv even passed you in wal-mart. If i see you around drivin, ill be sure to blow by you with my just bolt ons 1.8L Natrially aspriated, watching you in my rear view mirror tryin to keep up.
And for you #37, that motor is crap, maybe for its time it wasnt that bad. But smaller 4cyc make more hp than that 2.5 all the time now. For instance my car, and its a 1.8L, nissan motors and honda motors also make more power. |
