I'm looking at the Charger, the Altima, the Torrent/Equinox, and the Sorento. I need something a bit bigger than what I have now. Between friends with long legs and my daughter it's just a bad set-up right now. |

#24, there are more important numbers than hp. impressive yes. but its still being delivered to just the front wheels and the stock lsd is not very strong. a (very pro-srt) source said the lsd was cabable of handling 300ftlbs of torque. stock is 260. this car is almost out tuned for its drivetrain. not to mention its weight, dodge is getting a bad habit of ballooning their cars weight. |

#24 Yea you shove an 18 psi turbo on anything and get more power... but that engine won't last that long with the fuckheads that buy them and drive like assholes.
My point is... the new Mustang GT has 300 hp... but I guarentee it will eat the Calibers lunch, weight and torque.
Not to mention the GT looks better, and the MSRP is only 25k... I think I would take paying 30 bucks more a month in order to get something that looks better, sounds better, handles better, is faster and not to mention a shitload more reliable. It is a Ford after all. |

Oh yea... and if they make a new lightning it will kick the SRT-10's ass. That viper motor weighs a ton and sucks gas.
Ford sticks with V8's and has the same success. |

#30, "but that engine won't last that long with the fuckheads that buy them and drive like assholes" --have you seen v8 mustang drivers? #31, "That viper motor weighs a ton and sucks gas." -- like you buy a lightning (or any truck for that matter) because of its fuel economy. oh and the lightning is so light. the whole sport truck idea is stupid. |

#32, The nice thing about a car with some displacement is you get performance from it without having to knock up against the rev-limiter. |

#31, For 500 hp, 15 mpg on the highway doesn't sound that bad to me, considering the hemi only gets 18. |

#34, What I love is when dodge calls 18mpg highway "gas mileage like a 4-cylinder." |

#32 yes I have seen the V8 mustang drivers... they drive a hell of a lot more conservative than people with ricers.
And I wasn't saying I would buy a sport truck for fuel economy and weight, Im comparing two vehicles.
The lightning is significantly lighter than the SRT-10... about 600 pounds. If you don't think that is a lot, pull a 600 pound trailer with your car and time it. |

What an ugly color. There are only two colors that this truck should be paint, red or black (racing stripes optional). |
